Hello Everyone! My name is Corey and I live in Philadelphia, PA. I am currently working towards my Master’s Degree from West Virginia University, in regards to Integrated Marketing Communications.
I was bornĀ in Allentown,PA, and attended William Allen High School as a member of the Allentown Academy of the Arts; focusing on classic photography and photo-journalism. Upon graduating from William Allen, I received a scholarship to attend the Corcoran College of Art & Design in Washington, DC.
While understanding my love for photography, after one year I decided to transfer to West Virginia University in pursuit of a more well-rounded college experience. At WVU, I participated in Men’s Collegiate Rugby, alongside many other student and community based organizations.
Upon graduating from WVU, I moved to Washington, DC where I began my career as a Business Development Assistant with Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal. While living in Washington, I was able to gain valuable experience working for ViaNovo, a public affairs office located in Alexandria, VA and The August Jackson Company, a boutique marketing communications firm located within Washington, DC.
Currently, I am working towards creating a wonderful balance between my professional career in regards to marketing communications and my love for photography; I often dream of traveling the world, capturing it ALL through my camera lens. Let’s just say my “bucket list” is quite long… Nevertheless, I have been blessed with many wonderful opportunities to travel the globe thus far and hope to continue on my path around the world. Not so long ago, I even entertained the idea of joining the Peace Corps; a great opportunity with an abundance of causes. I would still like to do so sometime down the road!
I have many interests and some include: traveling, photography, creative arts, cooking, rugby, collegiate sports, reading, the internet, collecting sneakers and hats, movies, music(its a lifeline for me), spending time with good friends and family and the list goes on…
